DS685 Duplex ID Card Scanner
Simultaneously scan both sides of a driver’s license, ID or insurance card in one 
pass, with the Ambir DS685 duplex ID card scanner. Featuring a 1.5mm-wide paper 
path, the DS685 adeptly handles even the most challenging scan jobs, including 
raised, embossed characters. Ideal for capturing driver’s license and ID data at 
healthcare facility admissions, hospitality registration, point of sale (POS) environments 
and financial institutions – anywhere customers or clients need to provide identity data.
The Ambir DS685 duplex ID card scanner delivers commercial-grade scanning quality 
in an ultra compact product footprint. Designed specifically to scan thick materials 
such as laminated ID cards and plastic cards with embossed characters, the DS685 
duplex ID scanner quickly and accurately simultaneously scans both sides of ID cards, 
driver’s licenses, checks, and other forms of identification, as well as other documents 
up to 4.2” x 7.25”.
