The following guidelines are offered to assure a problem-free installation of your new Xanté system.  Please fax 
this completed form to the Sales Coordinator at (251) 473-6503, at least three days prior to installation.  If you 
have any questions regarding this checklist, please visit xante.com for contact information.   
 
These items should be received before installation.  Please verify receipt by checking the boxes and comparing to 
your sales order/invoice:

_____ RIP MONITOR (35 lbs. box)      _____ Densitometer (Ihara 7 lbs. box) 
_____ SpeedSetter Cart (95 lbs. box)     _____ Scanner

Check all cartons for external damage and immediately report any concerns to the shipping company and to the 
Xanté Sales Coordinator:

RIP, SpeedSetter and Epson workplace requirements: 
_____ Adequate work space/counter space with electrical service for the Xanté RIP and SpeedSetter.  The RIP                                        
SpeedSetter cannot be more than 10 feet away from each other 
_____ Functioning 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet network 
_____ Power strips with surge suppressors 
_____ An uninterruptible power supply of 450 watts 
_____ Floor space needed 3’X4”, FLOOR MUST BE LEVEL  
_____ Printer interface cable for Epson: max. length 10’ (can be purchased at office supply stores) 
 
Processor requirements: 
_____ Approved media (Plate, Film, RC Paper) _____VR (materials can be purchased from Xanté) 
_____ Plate processing chemistry (Activator - Mitsubishi SLM-AC Itec #38750 & Stabilizer - Mitsubishi  
            SLM-ST Itec #38756) 
_____ Film/RC Paper chemistry (Developer & Fixer; Standard Rapid Access Developer & Fixer) 
_____ Reflective densitometer for Plate and RC Paper and/or Transmissive Densitometer for film  
            (if not ordered from Xanté) 
_____ Graduated-measuring container with pour spout (at least two quart capacity) 
_____ Soft plastic bristle scrub brush for Processor cleaning 
_____ Sink and drain with hot and cold water supply 
 
Personal considerations: 
_____ Schedule two (or more) employees to be thoroughly trained using the Xanté system for the full time that a   
Xanté employee is at your store (see your contract for days Xanté will be at your store, 1 or 2 days) 
 
Payment Consideration: 
_____ If applicable, please provide our installer with the final 1/3 payment upon satisfactory installation of the 
equipment and prior to his departure.
