Installation Instructions
Stylistic LT
In order to ensure compliance with the pertinent RF
emissions limits governing the Stylistic LT pen tablet,
shielded interconnect cables must be used.
Note: The Stylistic LT is not delivered with a USB
cable. This document is applicable only to those
systems that have customer-supplied USB cables
without attached ferrite cores.

USB Cable
To meet FCC Class B limits, a ferrite core must be
added when a Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable is
connected to the system. The ferrite core should be
installed adjacent to the USB connector.
To install the core, open it up so that it lies flat (see
Figure 1). Lay the USB cable into one of the channels in
the open core. The cable should be positioned so that it
is as close as possible to the USB connector that enters
the pen tablet.
Holding the cable in place, snap the core around the
cable. Figure 2 illustrates an end view of the closed
ferrite core (without a cable inserted).
Be sure to leave the ferrite core in place when the USB
cable is plugged into the pen tablet.
