7. Operation
Please avoid using this mouse on glass, mirror and metal surfaces.
Please do not place any other RF unit close to the mouse and its receiver to
avoid interference.
When travelling, please turn the power On/Off switch to the OFF position in
order to save battery life. You do not need to turn the power off if the mouse is
sitting still, the power consumption will be lowered automatically after you stop
using the mouse for a while.
When the mouse movements turn sluggish, it may be the time for you to
recharge the batteries. Just plug the USB charger cable into the USB port on
you computer, and the mouse, and leave it on for a few hours. You don't need to
turn off the power, and you can use the mouse when it is charging the batteries.
A completely depleted battery requires 10 hours to charge.

1. Pull the battery cover release toward the direction as indicated in the drawing
2. Insert the batteries (included in the package) into the battery compartment
3. Put the cover back on.

98/98SE CD into the CD ROM in order to obtain the USB driver. For the
computers where the USB ports are placed in an inaccessable area, you will
need to plug the USB extension cable (included in the package) into the USB
port on the computer, then plug the receiver into the USB extension cable
3. After a few seconds, the light in your mouse will begin to flicker. This is normal,
and should last until the mouse and the receiver are connected.
4. Press the connect button on the mouse, then press the connect button on the
receiver. Press firmly for 2-3 seconds.
5. After you release the connect button, the mouse is ready for use.
