INSERT 
THE BATTERIES
. 
Open the battery cover at the back of 
the unit.
. 
Insert two 
"LR44" 
batteries in 
proper 
polarity 
(+) 
and 
(-) 
as indicated.
. 
Close the battery cover.
Note: Do not mix old and 
new batteries. Do 
not 
mix alkaline, 
standard 
(carbon 
- 
zinc), 
or 
rechargeable 
(nickel 
- 
cadmium)
batteries.
